We started something new.
Before ION, every organic berry grower in the country had to buy their planting stock from conventional nurseries — farms using synthetic soil fumigants and chemical pest control. There was no alternative. In 2016, James Rickert and Daniel Nelson changed that, launching the first and only certified organic berry transplant nursery in the United States. Grown near Mt.
